First ride on my new VoltBike Mariner Step-thru on Saturday, March 5th. Went under and over Highway One from Surrey to Coquitlam, BC and back via the Port Mann Bridge. All-in-all, a good ride. The only adjustment needed was to raise my seat height about two inches, Good views of the Mighty Fraser River.

New Onkyo TX-NR797 Smart AV 9.2 Channel Receiver

Upgraded our AV Receiver to a Onkyo 9.2-channel Onkyo SMART A/V Receiver. This replaces a 14 years old Sony Receiver (pre-HDMI). The sound has improved significantly, even with my old speakers.

The big noticeable improvement is visual – very much better – almost everything gets up-scaled to 4K. Even older DVD’s look fantastic. I’m very pleased.

Plus, this receiver does all the streaming and casting that anyone needs.

Got this on sale – about $300 or $400 less than the usual price. So this in an early birthday present to myself. See details. . .
